when accidents happen at Disneyland, people tend to point the finger at Disneyland. whether it is Disneyland's fault or not. some accidents happen on rides others outside of Disneyland. Disneyland has their own lawyers and attorneys to represent the when cases do come up. Disneyland is usually not found at fault when stuff does happen because most of the things which do happen are not Disney's fault. most are just clumsy careless guest who tripped, or didn't watch were they were going and fell or bumped into things. when cases like that are filed Disney will consult the guest and either settle or prove with evidence that Disney is not at fault, that is if the case even gets to court. yes, things do happen to innocent people who were not being clumsy, and when those cases are brought to court they win. And when they win, they win big. that's why attorneys for Disney try to contact the guest before court to offer than a claim without it going on record and usually saving Disney money. some people try to fake accidents but never get any money because their information doesn't match up or they back out when it becomes to serious.

Happiest place on earth?

Right now I'm reading about death at Disneyland... I know, that sounds weird, but yes people do die at Disneyland, some because of old age, and heart attacks. However, most of the deaths are because of rides. No one would ever imagine that you can die at Disneyland, but there is something about when guests walk into the park, the illusion of safety absords them. They leave all of their common sense at the gate. Guests think that everything is so perfect, and safe that nothing could ever happen to them at Disneyland, but being around all that machinery accidents are bound to happen. To employees as well as guests, and even children. most of the accidents at Disneyland are caused by guest that aren't being careful, they stand up on rides and fall. most of those types of cases try to sue the park, but Disneyland is hardly ever found guilty because of guests own carelessness . some people have drowned, others mushed to death what ever that accident may be, in all of the tragic incidents, it is very sad when lives are lost when most of the accidents that occur could have been avoided.

Characters
By: David Koenig
pg. 167, 6 hours.
I'm still reading the same book about Disneyland, and it is still really cool and interesting. There are allot of funny stories in the book, one was about characters and how they cope in the costumes they are in, and how it gets really hot in the costumes. another thing i thought was funny was that the characters who are "masked" such as Mickey and Minnie are usually all women because Mickey and Minnie are both very small, so they have women do the part. Another thing i read was about some people who played the masked characters and their stories of their job, a common story among all of the former cast members (which is Disney for employees) was that when the were in costume people used to beat them up. Mostly children and teenagers, but parents would tell their kids to go "Kick it in the shin" and the children would do it. it got to the point where it was so severe that all masked characters have to have a guard ( another cast membr stand right beside them wherever they went so that nobody could do anything) so if your ever at Disneyland and you see Mickey and his friends along with a guy standing right beside them, you will know the story behind that.
